Our Goals
The Foundation focuses on three priorities: equipping firefighters, preparing the community, and reducing risk on the peninsula.
Equipment and Technology
We help fund current tools and technology: protective gear, medical and rescue equipment, thermal imaging, and the communications and interoperability tools that improve response and firefighter safety. As standards and technology advance, the Foundation helps the District keep its equipment current.
Training and Readiness
We support ongoing training for career and volunteer firefighters, and public education such as CPR, AED, and first aid, so residents can act in the critical minutes before crews arrive. A prepared community is a safer community.
Wildfire Prevention and Risk Reduction
The Tiburon Peninsula sits in a wildland-urban interface, where dry hillsides, open space, and narrow roads raise the stakes during fire season. The Foundation helps fund vegetation management, defensible-space efforts, evacuation preparedness, and community wildfire education that lower this risk.
